The Division of Humanities and Liberal Arts is composed of basic courses (Practical Reading, Practical Listening, and Writing), character development and refinement courses (Literature and Language, History and Culture, Philosophy and Humanity, Physical Education and the Arts), and capacity building courses (Global Communication, Leadership and Society, Convergence and Entrepreneurship) in order to foster human resources required by society in the era of globalization and free competition.
The objective is to help students develop basic humanistic, creative thinking, and communication skills, and pursue harmonious development of the mind and body. By doing so, they will be able to actively and proactively cope with the rapid changes and advances in the era of globalization and cultivate knowledge and character at the same time, as healthy members of society.
