About the Lab
The lab conducts research on improving the performance of wireless sensor network and cellular mobile
network protocols using reinforcement learning, and works on smartphone app, blockchain, and IoT
projects.
Key research areas include:
- Research on energy-efficient protocols using machine learning techniques in wireless sensor networks
- Research on improving the performance of IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN standards (802.11ax, 802.11ah) protocols
- Research on MAC protocols for 5G mobile communication systems
- Research on routing and MAC protocols in wireless mesh networks
- Development of application programs using Bluetooth
- Research on anti-collision MAC protocols for RFID systems
