Work Scholarship Program
A work scholarship program is a system in which a nation or college pays a scholarship when we work at a school or certain institution as a college student. This system creates opportunities for fair education. Through this, college students can improve their employment ability and experience related to their major.
Types of Work Scholarship Program
Types of work scholarship programs are largely divided into the nation’s work scholarship program (in-college work, out-college work) and the HBNU work scholarship program (in-college work). Nation’s work scholarship program provides a scholarship from the nation and HBNU work scholarship program provides a scholarship from college. Nation’s work scholarship program (in-college work) and HBNU work scholarship program (in-college work) hourly wage is 9,860 won, Nation’s work scholarship program (out-college work) hourly wage is 12,220 won. HBNU work scholarship program (in-college work) is limited to 15 hours in a week and all other work is limited to 20 hours in a week.
Workplace of Work Scholarship Program
In-college and out-college workplaces are different every year. In-college workplaces contain major offices and libraries, and out-college workplaces contain government offices and local centers. In the first semester of 2024, the nation’s work scholarship program selects 164 workers for in-college work and 55 workers for out-college work. HBNU work scholarship program selects 135 workers for in-college work.
Eligibility of Work Scholarship Program
Students in the regular semester must get at least 70 points of percentile in the previous semester and get the bottom 80 percent of the income bracket. Scholars are selected based on income bracket, grades, interviews, and scores are different by section.
