Ergonomics is defined as the scientific study of human behavior or human factor, which is necessary for designing tasks, machine operation, and devices, based on an examination of the relationship between humans and the machines they operate as a system (man-machine system) and the relationship between them in the fields of medicine, psychology, physics, and engineering to design machines that are suitable for the physiological and psychological characteristics of humans. That is, ergonomics is ultimately about making it easier to perform tasks or jobs by improving tasks, jobs, machines, methods, devices, environments, etc. Therefore, the lab aims to design and review machinery and equipment from an engineering perspective by extracting the unique characteristics of humans by exploring the laws of human beings so that humans can operate them safely and easily.
