Yoon Tong-seop, CEO of Vision Semicon, Donated Sneeze Guard Tables and Scholarship to Hanbat National University

□ 우리 대학은 10일 반도체 전문기업인 비전세미콘㈜(대표이사 윤통섭)로부터 학생복지 증진을 위한 학생식당용 비말차단 테이블과 장학금 등 1억 원 상당의 발전기금을 기부 받았다고 밝혔다.

□ Hanbat National University (President Oh Yong-jun) announced on the 10th that it had received a development fund worth approximately 100 million KRW from Vision Semicon Co., Ltd. (CEO Yoon Tong-seop), a leading semiconductor company, including scholarship funds and sneeze guard tables for the student cafeteria to enhance student welfare.

 ○ 이날 행사에는 오용준 총장과 김윤기 교학부총장, 임준묵 산학연구부총장, 남윤의 학생처장 등 주요 보직자와 비전세미콘㈜ 윤통섭 대표이사, 권성만 영업본부장, 김광호 기술연구소장 등 16여 명이 참석했다.

 ○ The event was attended by 16 participants, including key officials from Hanbat National University—President Oh Yong-jun, Academic Affairs Kim Yoon-ki, Vice President for Industry-University Research Lim Joon-mook, and Dean of Student Affairs Nam Yoon-ui—as well as Vision Semicon Co., Ltd. CEO Yoon Tong-seop, Head of Sales Kwon Seong-man, and Director of the Technical Research Center Kim Gwang-ho.

 ○ 윤통섭 대표는 1982년 전자과를 졸업한 동문으로 지난 2020년과 2021년에도 산학협력 발전기금을 기부한 바 있으며, 국립한밭대의 ‘한집안 산학장학생’ 제도에도 참여하여 재학생 현장실습 교육과 졸업생 직접 고용 등 취업에도 힘을 보태고 있다.

 ○ CEO Yoon Tong-seop, an alumnus who graduated from the Department of Electronics in 1982, had previously donated development funds for industry-academic cooperation in 2020 and 2021 and is currently contributing to student employment by participating in Hanbat National University's “One Family Industry-Academia Scholarship” program, which provides on-site training for current students and directly hires graduates.

 ○ 또, 비전세미콘㈜이 자랑하는 스마트 무인 로봇카페 기술이 적용된 테스트 베드를 대학 내에 구축해 학생들이 4차 산업혁명 핵심기술을 익히는 데에도 기여하고 있다.

 ○ In addition, Vision Semicon Co., Ltd. has contributed to students' learning of core technologies related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution by establishing a testbed equipped with its smart unmanned robot café technology on campus.

□ 윤 대표는 “이번에 기증한 비말차단 테이블은 코로나19 팬데믹 때 감염 예방을 위해 직접 개발한 제품으로 성능평가 결과, 비말차단 및 살균 효과가 매우 높고 오래 지속되는 것으로 나타났다”며, “학생들의 감염병 예방과 건강 증진에 도움이 되길 바란다”고 소감을 말했다.

□ CEO Yoon Tong-seop stated, “The sneeze guard tables donated this time were developed during the COVID-19 pandemic to prevent infections, and performance evaluations had shown that they were highly effective in blocking droplets and offered long-lasting sterilization effects, so I hope they will help students’ health and prevent infectious diseases.”

□ 오용준 총장은 “항상 모교와 학생들을 위해 물심양면으로 도움을 주셔서 깊이 감사드리며, 학생들에게 고귀한 뜻을 널리 알리고 잘 활용될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

□ President Oh Yong-jun said, "I am deeply grateful for always helping alma mater and students in both ways, and I will try to spread my noble will to students and make them well utilized."

□ 한편, 비전세미콘㈜는 지난 2022년 대한민국 지식재산대전에서 비말차단 테이블로 한국특허정보원장상을 수상한 바 있으며, ‘CES 2022’에서는 스마트 바리스타 시스템, 비말차단 테이블 등을 선보이며 국내·외적으로 혁신기술력을 인정받았다.

□ Meanwhile, Vision Semicon Co., Ltd., which received the Director's Award from the Korea Institute of Patent Information for its sneeze guard tables at the 2022 Korea Intellectual Property Awards, showcased its smart barista system and sneeze guard tables at CES 2022, gaining recognition both domestically and internationally for its innovative technology.
